Your information, handled carefully.

This notice explains how Kildare Plant & Garden Solutions Limited (company number 825446, Kilcullen, Co. Kildare) uses personal information when you contact the business or have work carried out. What this website collects
Nothing you type on this website is sent to or stored by it. The quote questions only prepare a message in your browser, and you choose whether to send it, by WhatsApp or email, straight to the business, or to call instead. The website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools.
Like any website, it is served through a hosting provider, Cloudflare, which processes technical details such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse. The business does not use this information to identify you.
Information you send
An enquiry may include your name, phone number, email address, town or address, the type of work, photos of the site and any other details you choose to share. If the work goes ahead, the business will also hold the quotation, the job details and invoice and payment records.
How it is used, and why
- To reply to your enquiry, arrange a site visit and prepare a quotation, because you asked for it (steps taken at your request before a contract).
- To carry out and manage work you commission, including scheduling, updates and invoicing (performance of a contract).
- To keep the accounting and tax records Irish law requires (legal obligation).
- To keep a record of enquiries and jobs so the business can answer questions about past work and deal with any dispute (legitimate interests).
Your information is never sold and is not used for marketing lists.
Who it is shared with
Only where reasonably needed: the providers that run the business’s phone, email and messaging, its accountant or other professional advisers, and suppliers or subcontractors involved in delivering your job. It may also be disclosed where the law requires it.
When you send a message by WhatsApp, by a web email service such as Gmail or Outlook, or by phone, that provider also handles the message under its own privacy terms. Some of these providers store data outside the European Economic Area; where they do, they rely on safeguards recognised under the GDPR, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long it is kept
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 12 months. Records of work carried out, including quotations and invoices, are kept for six years after the end of the tax year they relate to, as Irish tax law requires, and then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information held about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how it is used, or receive a copy in a portable format. Some requests cannot be met in full where records must be kept by law. To make a request, use the contact details above; you will get a reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how your information is handled, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission, the supervisory authority in Ireland.
Changes
If the website starts using cookies, analytics or embedded services, or the way information is handled changes, this notice will be updated first and the date above changed.
