How much does hedge cutting cost?
It depends on the size of the job, access and what is involved, so Seanie prices it after seeing the site. The quotation is free, subject to the project and location, and it sets out exactly what is included.
When can hedges be cut in Ireland?
Section 40 of the Wildlife Act 1976 restricts cutting vegetation on uncultivated land from 1 March to 31 August, to protect nesting birds. Hard cutting is planned for September to February, and any hedge is checked for nests before work starts. The National Parks and Wildlife Service publishes the full rules.
Are you a tree surgeon?
Seanie is training towards an arborist qualification. Tree work is assessed on site first and taken on only where it is within the team's competence. Where a job needs a qualified arborist, you will be told so.
